3 Ways to deal with rocky relationship terrain

Relationship paths are not always smooth...

--> Here are three signposts to help you when you hit rocky terrain!

1) Listen to the signals of your body.

Physical sensations as well as emotions are amazing guides. Buried as a treasure underneath pain, fear and anger often are needs and desires you’ve been ignoring.

The body KNOWS.

2) Trust life

Sometimes you will have to take some steps in the dark. When that feels scary, ask yourself:

“Hey, are you still trusting life?”

Think of it like walking down a staircase at night, waiting for the sensor to turn the light on....

The light will only switch on when you move into its range.
But: take the steps, and IT WILL SWITCH ON!

3) Last but not least: practice outrageous self-care.

Even though it feels like you can’t afford to, bumpy terrain is EXACTLY where you can’t afford NOT to practice self-care.

Eat well, sleep well, exercise,hug a friend, and hydrate.
You’ll thank you later.
